Sat-02-Jul-2016 [a] (0-1) L0-4 Bath City (Friendly)
– A virtually unrecognisable team went behind to a needless pen just on half-time. Poor defending at a corner made it 2-0 (header, 47), a curler from just outside the “D” (63) and a goal from a break after a Thistle corner (67) finished things off. 8 substitutions and 4 trialists made for a team of strangers.
Sat-02-Jul-2011 [a] (0-0) L0-2 Blyth Spartans (Friendly)
– McNamara confirmed as manager 12 May. On a pitch with long grass and too much sand, Thistle almost used 2 complete line-ups. The first half was disjointed and goalless. Numerous changes at half-time saw mainly reserves playing. A cracking strike (53) and a penalty (83) deservedly won it. Blyth hit the post 3 times.
