Bio Extra

A tremendous shot-stopper with a commanding 6' 6" frame that allows him to dominate his area, Conor's career started in his home country with Cliftonville, where he was scouted by Celtic and switched to the Scottish giants, his boyhood team, as a 16-year-old. He progressed through the ranks, but chances were few and far between over his 9 year association with the hoops, although he was eventually promoted to the first-team squad under Brendan Rodgers and gained senior experience through loans at Falkirk, Partick Thistle, and Dundee (in two spells). As a Celt, he made his competitive debut in a Europa League win against Lille and famously featured in the side that won the 2020 Scottish Cup, making key saves in the penalty shoot-out victory over Hearts.

His reputation grew further during a season-long loan with Finnish top-flight side HJK Helsinki, being named not just the club’s Player of the Year but also the league’s Goalkeeper of the Season, and that was enough to prompt Plymouth Argyle to swoop for his services in 2023 for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £150,000. He made over 80 appearances across three seasons (2023-2026) in the Championship and League One, highlighted by a notable FA Cup clean sheet in the FA Cup on 9th February 2025; Plymouth Argyle 1 Liverpool 0! Conor signed for League One Wycombe Wanderers on a free transfer in the summer of 2026 after his Plymouth contract expired.

He has earned 11 senior caps for Northern Ireland since his debut in 2018 (against Costa Rica), having previously represented the country at multiple youth levels. Keeping a clean-sheet in a 2-0 Euro Qualifier win over Denmark in November 2023 was a big highlight in Conor's footballing career.
