Thomas "TC" Campbell is the first recorded Thistle player to be sent off when he left the field with a Hurlford player on 26/9/1891 in the 2nd round of the Scottish Qualifying Cup. The "Glasgow Evening Post" confirmed they had been reported by the referee for "attempting to fight and indulging in illegitimate practices".
