Anthony Shepherd was born on Wednesday, 16th November, 1966, in Glasgow.

The midfielder signed for Murdo MacLeod's Thistle circa August, 1995, having most recently been with Portadown.

Aged 28, he made his only appearance on Saturday, 23rd September, 1995, in a 3-1 defeat away to Raith Rovers in the SFL Premier Division.

There were no goals for Tony in his one-off appearance for Thistle.

Tony's club-list included Celtic, Bristol City, Carlisle United, Motherwell, Portadown, Partick Thistle, Ayr United, Stranraer, Glenavon, Cliftonville, Albion Rovers and Glenafton Athletic.

Was Murdo MacLeod's first signing as Thistle manager but didn't last long, making just one substitute appearance against Raith Rovers at Starks Park while on a short term contrad before leaving the club.
