Tommy M. Cunningham was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. *

The forward signed for David Meiklejohn's Thistle on Saturday, 11th March, 1950, having most recently been with Stoneyburn.

He made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 30th August, 1950, in a 3-1 win at home to Airdrieonians in the League Cup.

There were no goals for Tom during his spell with Thistle.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 14th April, 1951, in a 1-1 draw at home to Motherwell in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 4 occasions.

Tom's club-list included Stoneyburn, Partick Thistle and Albion Rovers.
