Thomas Paterson [ii]
A. Player

born in Scotland

Thomas Paterson was born in 1874, in Quarter, South Lanarkshire.

The forward signed for Thistle in August, 1895, having most recently been with Thornliebank.

Aged 20 or 21, he made his only known appearance on Saturday, 17th August, 1895, in a 3-2 defeat away to Port Glasgow Athletic in the SFL Second Division.

That day, Thomas became a member of our scoring debutant's club, and even added a second for good measure.

His club-list included Thornliebank, Partick Thistle, Motherwell, Burnley and Abercorn.

We don't know where or when Thomas died. *
