Thomas Mackie was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The forward signed for George Easton's Thistle on Tuesday, 5th December, 1922. He made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 7th February, 1923, in a 3-3 draw away to Airdrieonians in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Thomas during his spell with Thistle. He played his second and last game for the club on Saturday, 10th March, 1923, in a 1-0 defeat at home to Falkirk in the SFL First Division. His club-list included Benburb, Partick Thistle, Nithsdale Wanderers, Third Lanark and Cardiff City. We don't know where or when Thomas died. *
