Simon George Lynch was born on Wednesday, 19th May, 1982, in Montreal, Quebec.

The 6' 0 (10st 9lbs) forward joined Ian McCall's Thistle for a trial period in July, 2008, having most recently been with Queensland Roar.

Aged 26, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 5th July, 2008, in a 3-1 friendly win away to Blyth Spartans.

That day, Simon became a member of our scoring debutant's club, and even added a second for good measure.

He played his last game for the club on Tuesday, 15th July, 2008, in a 2-0 friendly win away to Stirling Albion, having appeared as a Jag on 3 occasions.

Simon's club-list included Celtic, Preston North End, Stockport County, Blackpool, Dundee, Queensland Roar, Partick Thistle, Airdrie United, Dumbarton, East Stirlingshire and Stenhousemuir.
