![]() Scott Edward Houston was born on Friday, 20th March, 1981, in New Cumnock, East Ayrshire. The forward signed for John McVeigh's Thistle in 1997, having most recently been with Partick Thistle Boys Club. Aged 17, he made his debut appearance on Friday, 3rd April, 1998, in a 4-0 friendly defeat at home to Motherwell. Scott scored his first goal for Thistle on Monday, 20th July, 1998, in a 2-1 friendly win away to Stenhousemuir. He scored his second and final goal for the club on Saturday, 10th April, 1999, in a 2-2 draw at home to East Fife in the SFL Second Division. That turned out to be his last game for Thistle, having appeared as a Jag on 4 occasions. Scott's club-list included Partick Thistle, Glenafton Athletic, Cumnock Juniors, Auchinleck Talbot and Craigmark Burntonians. |
