Bio Extra

After John Lambie left the club in November 1989 Sandy was appointed player/manager in his place, and made his playing debut shortly after. The bustling style which had been effective in the Premier Division with Hearts was affected by his lack of fitness and as a consequence he played rarely. He was sacked soon after as performances deteriorated.
