Bio Extra

This left winger played a few time for Linthouse in the Second Division during 1895-96. He signed for Thistle the following season where he remained a fringe player in terms of the first team. Speaking of his final appearance (as an oncoming sub) in April 1897, the Scottish Referee reported that he gave a refreshing display of tricky forward work, and that had he another three inches in height he'd be as good as there is. Little is known of his footballing career from thereon, but he never made the breakthrough at senior grade.
