Roderick McKenzie was born on Friday, 8th August, 1975, in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire.

The 6' 0 (12st 0lbs) goalkeeper joined Gerry Collins's Thistle for a trial in July, 2003, having most recently been with Stenhousemuir.

Aged 27, he made his only appearance on Wednesday, 16th July, 2003, in a 6-1 friendly win away to Ayr United.

Roddy's club-list included Heart of Midlothian, Stenhousemuir, Partick Thistle, Livingston, Dunfermline Athletic and Queen of the South.
