Robbie Muirhead was born on Friday, 8th March, 1996, in Irvine, North Ayrshire. The 5' 10 (12st 3lbs) forward temporarily transferred to Alan Archibald's Thistle on Tuesday, 1st September, 2015, from his parent club, Dundee United. Aged 19, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 12th September, 2015, in a 1-0 defeat at home to Dundee in the SPFL Premiership. Robbie scored his only two goals for Thistle on the same day; on Saturday, 28th November, 2015, in a 5-2 win away to Kilmarnock in the SPFL Premiership. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 19th December, 2015, in a 1-0 win at home to Ross County in the SPFL Premiership, having appeared as a Jag on 8 occasions. At June, 2024, Robbie's club-list included Kilmarnock, Dundee United, Partick Thistle, Heart of Midlothian, Milton Keynes Dons, Dunfermline Athletic, Greenock Morton and Livingston. |

Muirhead began his career with Kilmarnock before joining Dundee United in February 2015. On 1 September 2015, Muirhead was loaned to fellow Scottish Premiership club Partick Thistle on an initial three-month deal. Muirhead scored his only two goals for Thistle in a 5–2 win on 28 November against his former club Kilmarnock, one of which was a 30-yard wonder-strike. Muirhead was released by Dundee United in April 2016, before signing for Heart of Midlothian. In 2017, he moved to Milton Keynes Dons, then spent a season at Dunfermline Athletic. He signed for Morton in 2019, under manager David Hopkin. In total, he found the net 44 times for the ‘Ton, lifting the club’s Top Goalscorer award for 2023-24 with 17 goals. Following this, he moved on to recently relegated Livingston in time for their Championship campaign of 2024-25. In his earlier days, Muirhead represented Scotland at U16, U17, U18 and U19 international levels. While playing for Scotland U19, Muirhead scored a goal that was nominated for a "goal of the season" award by UEFA. On 13 March 2018, Muirhead was called up to the Scotland U21 national team for the first time. |
