 Richard Francis Pacquette was born on Friday, 28th January, 1983, in Kilburn, London. The 6' 0 (12st 6lbs) defender joined Derek Whyte & Gerry Britton's Thistle for a trial period in July, 2004, having most recently been with Mansfield Town. Aged 21, he made his debut appearance on Monday, 12th July, 2004, in a 2-0 friendly win away to Stenhousemuir. Amazingly, Ritchie scored his first 4 goals for Thistle in the same match! His haul of four was delivered on Thursday, 15th July, 2004, in a 9-0 friendly win away to Royal Highland Fusiliers. He scored the last of his 7 goals on Saturday, 17th July, 2004, in an 18-0 friendly win away to Royal Highland Fusiliers. He played his last game for the club on Monday, 26th July, 2004, in a 1-0 friendly defeat at home to Leicester City, having appeared as a Jag on 5 occasions.
