| R. Young |
R. Young (forename unknown) was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The forward was known to be with Thistle at least as early as 1882. He made his first known appearance on Saturday, 11th February, 1882, in a 10-0 friendly win at home to King's Park. There were no known goals for Young during his spell with Thistle. He played his second (and last known) game for the club on Saturday, 8th April, 1882, in a 3-0 friendly win at home to Clarkston. His known club-list included only Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when Young died. *
