Bio Extra

Super Swede Lindau's arrival on loan from Ayr United coincided with Thistle's best form of season 1999/00, and that is no coincidence. He made his debut, as did Scott Mclean, against Stenhousemuir on December 18th and his debut goal, Thistle's last goal of the century, earned Thistle three points. In total from 9 appearances he netted 4 times including a double in a 4-2 win over Ross County. Returned to Ayr United at the end of his loan spell but was back at Firhill, permanently, in time for the start of the new season. He wasn't quite so succesful in 2000/01 but still managed ten goals and many people were disappointed when he turned down the contract on offer at the end of the season to play in Norway.
