![]() Peter Mackay Findlay was born on Tuesday, 2nd August, 1870, in Bridgeton, Glasgow. The forward joined Thistle in 1893. Aged 23, he made his first known appearance on Saturday, 30th September, 1893, in a 3-2 defeat away to Clyde in the SFL Second Division. Peter scored his first known goal for Thistle on Saturday, 11th November, 1893, in an 8-1 defeat away to Cowlairs in the SFL Second Division. He scored the last of his 3 known goals on Saturday, 25th November, 1893, in a 4-3 win at home to Northern in the SFL Second Division. He played his last known game for the club on Monday, 1st January, 1894, in an 11-0 friendly win away to Peterhead, having appeared for the Thistle on at least 14 occasions. His known club-list included only Partick Thistle. Peter died in January, 1908, in Nottinghamshire, aged 37. *
