Paul Walker was born on Saturday, 20th August, 1977, in Kilwinning, North Ayrshire. The 5' 5 (10st 1lbs) forward signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Tuesday, 21st August, 2001, having most recently been with Stranraer. Aged 24, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 21st August, 2001, in a 1-0 defeat away to Clyde in the Challenge Cup. Paul scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 27th October, 2001, in a 2-0 win away to Ayr United in the SFL First Division. He scored the last of his 7 goals on Saturday, 27th July, 2002, in a 2-1 friendly defeat at home to Birmingham City. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 5th April, 2003, in a 2-0 defeat away to Rangers in the Scottish Premier League, having appeared as a Jag on 55 occasions. Paul's club-list included Dundee United, St Mirren, Stranraer, Queen's Park, Partick Thistle, Greenock Morton, Montrose, Ayr United, East Fife and Irvine Meadow XI. |
