John Paul Friar was born on Thursday, 6th June, 1963, in Glasgow. The defender signed for John Lambie's Thistle circa Saturday, 12th October, 1991, having most recently been with Fisher Athletic. Aged 28, he made his only appearance on Saturday, 12th October, 1991, in a 4-3 defeat at home to Morton in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Paul in his one-off appearance for Thistle. Paul's club-list included Leicester City, Rotherham United, Motherwell, Charlton Athletic, Northampton Town, Aldershot, Dover Athletic, Welling United, Dartford, Crawley Town, Aylesbury, Enfield, Fisher Athletic, Partick Thistle, East Stirlingshire, Albion Rovers and Fauldhouse United. |
