| McKinnon [ii] |
McKinnon (forename unknown) was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The midfielder appeared for Thistle in April, 1891. He made his only known appearance on Saturday, 18th April, 1891, in a 2-1 defeat away to Queen's Park in the Glasgow Charity Cup. There were no goals for McKinnon in his only known appearance for Thistle. His known club-list included only Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when McKinnon died. *

Historian's note: Given the propensity for trialists utilizing multiple psuedonyms in this era, we note that we had an unidentified McKinnon [ii] playing at #5 on 18th April, 1891 followed by the similarly unidentified McFarlane, also a #5, exactly 7 days later. Might they be one and the same player?
