He made his only appearance on Monday, 13th April, 1903, in a 3-0 defeat at home to St Mirren in the Inter City League. There were no goals for McColgan in his one-off appearance for Thistle. His known club-list included only Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when McColgan died. *
