 Mathias Fassou Pogba was born on Sunday, 19th August, 1990, in Conakry. The 6' 4½ (12st 13lbs) forward signed for Alan Archibald's Thistle on Monday, 3rd August, 2015, having most recently been with Crawley Town. Aged 24, he made his debut appearance on Sunday, 9th August, 2015, in a 2-0 defeat at home to Celtic in the SPFL Premiership. Mathias scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 24th October, 2015, in a 1-1 draw at home to Hamilton Academical in the SPFL Premiership. He scored the last of his 4 goals on Tuesday, 26th July, 2016, in a 4-1 win away to Stenhousemuir in the League Cup. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 27th August, 2016, in a 2-1 defeat at home to Heart of Midlothian in the SPFL Premiership, having appeared as a Jag on 40 occasions.
