I was there, without being racist I guess it was one of the French guys who scored as he was black. Not sure what we can take from that, we were awesome for all of 90 seconds from kick off, Donnelly had a header turned round the post by the goalie, and from the resultant corner someone hit the post and Chaplain buried the rebound. We went 2-0 up after the #9 was sent 1-on-1 through the middle and finished comfortably under the keeper. Stenny came back into it and won a penalty after Twaddle got skinned, which they scored, and then 2 minutes later they were level with a nice volley from inside the box.

Second half was pretty dull, they had the better of it to be hoenst as we fannied about with our personnel and formations, we used all but one of our subs at half time and Jimmy Gibson seemed to play the whole second half injured. Best player I thought was Murray, looked very lively although does go to ground very easily cos of his (lack of) size. Strachan was effin woeful. As for the trialists, the #16 (centre half) looked decent, the #8 (centre then right mid) was worth another look, had some nice touches, but the #9 other than his goal didn't look that great to me. Rowson came on and played right back for 30 minutes then centre mid, didn't stand out. I presume Harkins was the other centre half in the first half, likewise he did nothing spectacular.
