Table-topping Partick Thistle maintained their unbeaten run with a comfortable victory against Clyde. Veteran striker Gerry Britton was the star of the show for Thistle with a well-taken double to set up the win. His first goal came after only 11 minutes when he beat the offside trap to latch onto Derek Fleming's through-ball before rounding the goalkeeper and slotting home. And Partick doubled their lead after 32 minutes when Britton released James McKinstry and he curled a magnificent left foot shot high into the net. Clyde showed very little as an attacking force although they should have grabbed a lifeline just after the break when Pat Keogh headed over from close range. But the home side wrapped up the points with 18 minutes left when Britton reacted first to fire home after Danny Lennon's shot fell kindly in the area.
