TTA report

The first half was like “an antidote to insomnia” (GH). Despite being on top, Thistle never looked like scoring. St Mirren almost stole the lead just on half-time and started the second half brightly then lots of Thistle pressure came to nothing. Moss' header over from close in (89) summed it all up. Thistle stayed 3rd.

Finding something positive to say about this drab affair. There was a depressing lack of cohesion and subtlety. Both sides attempted to use a 4-4-2 formation but, for long spells, the match was a formless mess.
