The game deteriorated although the Fifers wasted 2 good chances. 2 Stirling free-kicks went close (the 2nd hit the bar). 2 headers by Moss (60 and 87) eased the nerves even although Evans was sent off (off the ball, 80).

EAST Fife’s season of woe continued at Bayview last night as Jimmy Bone's men suffered another defeat despite taking the lead in the first minute. Kevin Christie, signed earlier in the day from Aberdeen, made an incredible start to his East Fife career when he headed home a Richard Gibb free kick after just 36 seconds. The Fifers, however, only held the lead for just over a minute before Andy Lyons got on the end of cross from the right to head the equaliser.
