Partick Thistle extended their winning run to five successive games as they stung struggling Bankies. Two minutes later, Thistle looked to be in trouble again when Hillcoat pulled down Jimmy Grady inside the box. But the striker blasted the spot- kick wide. However, in the 65th minute Gareth Evans put the visitors in front when he latched on to a superb Gregg Watson through ball and slotted home. And right on the final whistle, the Jags put the game beyond all doubt when Jered Stirling hammered home a penalty after sub Scott Murdoch bundled Evans down in the box. That penalty wrapped up a rough-house of a game in which six players were booked.
