Thistle struggled against 3rd Div Forfar. Evans and Slavin went close but good goalkeeping and weak finishing kept it goalless until Maskrey was pulled down and Stirling scored from the spot (50). Another pen (foul on Evans, 60) saw Evans make it 2-0. He was set up by a fine Lyons pass (81) for 3-0.
