Falkirk went joint top with an easy win. Falkirk went ahead (37) from a fine through ball then poor defending made it 2-0 from a neat finish (48). McCoy reduced the lead when he headed in a Kelly cross (57) but MacLean was beaten at his near post (62). Embarrassingly easy for the Bairns. Lamont was sacked on 17 Oct.
