Severely under-strength Thistle had the best of the early chances and Park hit the post with the keeper stranded then Jardine hit the bar with a 30-yard free-kick. The only goal came just before half-time with a shot from a flick-on. The second half was a series of heavy tackles, fouls and bookings, but no more goals. Unlucky.
