It was all St Mirren and the Thistle goal led a charmed life but poor finishing and bad luck played their part. Watson's 25-yard free-kick was brilliantly saved by ex-JAG Thomson. Somner (who else?) gave Saints the lead (63) and future-JAG Logan got the 2nd. 2nd bottom, things were now looking desperate.
