Good football was scarce in the high wind and sleet. 2nd bottom Hearts had the better of things but their forwards seldom worried Rough. It took a Watson pen (push on O'Hara, 18) to produce the winner. The last half hour saw Thistle up the tempo but they couldn't find a 2nd goal. “A pattern-less game” (GH).
