After a few half chances Somner rose to head in a Park corner (13) against bottom club Motherwell. Apart from a few isolated attacks, it was all Thistle but careless shooting and the off-side flag denied them. MacKinnon gave away a pen and the equaliser came via the post (83). A blood and thunder affair.
