An excellent game. Celtic went ahead (7) but Melrose headed the equaliser (35) then Somner scored from the spot (39) . A soft penalty for hand ball made it 2-2 (48) and the winner came (50). Park hit the post as Celtic defended desperately and Somner scored but was off-side. “Out of luck Thistle” (GH).
