A dull, evenly-contested match. Melrose went close early on but the teams, for all their chances, couldn't finish them off. Craig hit the keeper's feet then Rough had a fine save on half-time. A soft free-kick trundled under him from 25 yards (63) but Somner scored with a low shot a min later. Remained 4th bottom.
