| “Rough and at times crude” (GH). A typical cup-tie. Both teams were weakened by flu and injuries and Anderson was injured (11). Thistle were 2nd best in the first half but magnificent saves by Rough and a goal line clearance kept it a 0-0. The second half was Thistle's as Dumbarton tired but it was a fair result. |
