An early spell of pressure came to nothing. Ex-JAG Bone hit the post then Joe Craig did so too. He nodded in a Somner pass (24) then Anderson cleared off the line It was all Thistle after that but a 2nd goal proved elusive until a solo burst by McQuade down the right saw him put the result beyond doubt (85).
