If anything, Kilmarnock had the better chances early on but a 40-yard run and shot by Houston (27) gave Thistle the lead they scarcely deserved. 2 magnificent saves by Rough kept it at 1-0 but Kilmarnock equalised (38). Joe Craig scored from the edge of the box (41) and he wrapped things up (53).
