| It took Celtic 20 minutes to warm up then Herriot was a busy keeper. He was beaten with a fine run, dribble and shot by McGrain (29). Thistle played some “neat, controlled, pretty football” (ET) but never seriously threatened. It was a slow, dull match watched by only 7,000. Celtic had bigger fish to fry. |
