Confirmed as champions. Understandably tense, Thistle made it hard for themselves. Queens were given too much space early on and they took the lead (5) but a tremendous shot from 18 yards by McQuade made it 1-1. He could have had more before Lawrie got the winning goal two minutes later (25).
