Thistle's forwards showed better purpose. Duncan's low shot (21) and Flanagan's pen (41) gave them a merited lead at half-time. Hearts improved but their forwards made little impact. Flanagan set up Bone (60), he headed in the 4th (71) and got his hat-trick (80) before Hearts scored (88) for a resounding win.
