Gray had some fine saves faced with early United pressure then they scored (pen, 19). Smith (from 25 yards, 35) and Duffy (a diving header, 44) gave Thistle a half-time lead. Goals (56 and 61) put Thistle behind but a 10-minute hat-trick by Ewing (66, 70 and 76) - two from defensive errors - made for a fine away win. Still 6th.
