Accurate passing was at a premium on the icy surface. Thistle had the bulk of the play but they were disjointed. Kerr shot a penalty wide (12) but Ewing scored (37) and later missed a sitter. McNab was injured and limped on the wing and Rovers (3rd in the league) scored (47) to take a deserved point.
