AGG 4-2. Injury-hit Thistle lived dangerously as Cowdenbeath pressed. After some chaotic defending, Smith opened the scoring with a header (20) but it was level 2 minutes later. A Davidson blunder led to a brilliant save by Ledgerwood to keep it at 1-1. Cowdenbeath pressed but a Smith header (84) settled the nerves.
