“Thistle survive early gruelling” (GH). A goal up in 40 secs, Hearts hit the woodwork twice in the first 5 minutes. Thistle were hardly in the game until Smith levelled from 18 yards (32). Ewing scored (56) after the keeper spilled a Smith shot. Hearts piled on more pressure and levelled (65). Excellent game.
