MacKenzie gave Thistle the lead (18) with a shot past the advancing keeper. Kerr cleared off the line then Mathers scored from 20 yards (32). Aberdeen lost their No 5 to injury just on half-time but fought on bravely with 10 men and only succumbed when Ewing and Wright scored in the last couple of mins. Flattering.
