There were few chances and play was largely confined to midfield. Motherwell went closest when they hit the post. The second half was largely a repeat until Sharp opened the scoring with a Crawford pass (73). Ewing made it 2-0 (83) then Motherwell scored with a 25-yarder soon after. Just about deserved.
