Top of the table Queens lost their centre-half to injury at 0-0 but scored with a deflected shot (23). Thistle equalised (24) through a Howitt volley. Sharp headed in a MacKenzie cross (28) and rounded the keeper just before half-time for 3-1. Crawford scored then Sharp got 2 more before Queens (effectively down to 10 men for 70 mins) got a consolation (88).
