Clyde enjoyed almost constant pressure but went on to regret missed chances. Thistle went in 1-up thanks to a Sharp header from a corner (39). Soon after half-time Wright squeezed the ball home then Walker scored (65). The game got towsy and MacKenzie scored from the spot (66) when Howitt was fouled.
