The Little Report Both reams were under-strength for this poor game. Thistle had 2 new faces (who didn't hang around). They played some neat football in midfield (Shankly was outstanding) but the forwards seldom threatened a strong Hibs defence. Goals 13 and 38 won it for Hibs. “Thistle were middling” (SP).
